The exhibition considers what we can learn from the Small Homes Service in relation to affordable and sustainable housing today as well as its generation of a public debate about what makes good design. Grand Plans was researched, designed and produced by Monash Master of Architecture students, and is presented in partnership between Monash Art, Design and Architecture, the Monash University Museum of Art (MUMA), and the Robin Boyd: Centenary of Design program. Robin Boyd: Centenary of Design celebrates the life, work and legacy of Australian architect, writer and cultural commentator Robin Boyd.
