Join us for a talk and Q&A with Zhang Xing, a distinguished graduate of Monash University’s Master of Industrial Design program in Suzhou, China at the Southeast University-Monash University Joint Graduate School.

In her talk, Xing will share her work from the past three years working in Shanghai with the Alibaba Group. In particular she will present her innovative work on the exciting HEMA - New retail platform. Learn more about HEMA on YouTube:

Internet companies like Ailbaba, Tencent and Jingdong in China have provided exciting career opportunities for design graduates over recent years. Xing graduated top of her class in 2013 and attended the opening of the Suzhou campus presenting her graduate project C-YUM (a smart spoon) to the Honorable Andrew Robb Australian Trade Minister and Professor Shane Murray in 2014.
