The School of Science alumni network is proud to invite you to this forum to discuss stress and how it affects mental health in the workplace.
Mental health problems arising from stress is an increasingly common issue faced by employers today. It is a growing concern that not only impacts the health of employees but also ultimately contributes to a loss of productivity.
Join us as we discuss the relationship between workplace stress and mental health, and identify early indicators of stress and ways to overcome them.
Dr. Paul Jambunathan is a Senior Lecturer at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Monash University Malaysia. He has over 35 years of experience in applied psychology in Britain, Australia and Malaysia, and has made regular ‘appearances’ on radio programs.
Pun Tian Pouw, or TP, is a Principal in Korn Ferry Malaysia, and is a member of the firm’s Global Financial Markets practice. He has more than 27 years of corporate HR experience. He was also a board member and the Executive Director for the Befrienders Kuala Lumpur and volunteers as a life skills coach in a community home for neglected and under-privileged children.
Dr. Liew Kah Leong is the director and a corporate trainer at The Mind, a psychological services and training consultancy where he assists clients to conceptualise and apply soft skills into something that can be incorporated into their organisation. Kah Leong is also an alumnus of Monash University.
