Senior management
Senior managers include members of the senior executive, deans of faculties and divisional directors. To meet their due diligence they must:
- hold staff in supervisory or management roles responsible for managing OHS matters in their areas
- use a risk based approach for managing OHS
- provide adequate budget for OHS programs
- regularly discuss OHS issues at meetings of faculties, divisions or senior management
- monitor and regularly review OHS performance
- implement OHS policies and procedures endorsed by MUOHSC (Monash Occupational Health & Safety Committee)
- participate in OHS related initiatives and projects
