Sit Stand Desks
There are many benefits to sitting less and moving more, whether at work or at home.
Research now shows that sitting for long periods can increase your risk of a range of health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, some cancers and obesity. The message is to break up your sitting time regularly (at least every 30 minutes). Think about how you can reduce your sitting time throughout your day. Stand when talking on the phone, visit a colleague at their desk rather than email, have a standing meeting, go for a walk at lunchtime, park your car further away. Be creative and stand more and sit less for your health.
