Pedestrian and cycling route improvement works

5 November 2019

Monash Council will begin works to improve cyclist and pedestrian routes between the University and Clayton railway station, and along the Gardiner Road access to Clayton campus from Wednesday 7 November 2018.

As part of the Government's Safer Cyclists and Pedestrians Fund, this will improve the safety and use experience of cyclists and pedestrians, and widen accessibility between the campus and broader City of Monash precinct.

The target for completion of the Gardiner Road works is February 2019. These works will be completed in stages to minimise disruption to pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles.

There are expected delays and detours during these works and Traffic management will be in place to assist.
