George Jenkins Theatre

Monash University Performing Arts Centres is committed to accommodating the needs of visitors with mobility requirements. The George Jenkins Theatre is an accessible venue for all patrons. The auditorium can be accessed via a lift in the theatre foyer. The foyer can be accessed from either side of the venue.

Robert Blackwood Hall

Entry to the Robert Blackwood Hall is via ramps directly into the foyer.

Additionally, the stalls area of the Robert Blackwood Hall is completely accessible. The auditorium floor is sloped, providing a gentle rake in the seating without the use of steps.

The balcony area is accessible only via four flights of stairs. This steeply raked section also contains stairs between each row. For this reason, we do not recommend balcony seating for patrons with limited mobility.

David Li Sound Gallery

The David Li Sound Gallery is located on the ground level of The Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts. There are no stairs required for access.

The Count’s

The Count’s (formerly Jazz Club) is an accessible venue on the foyer/ground level of The Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts. There are no stairs required for access.
