The Tuck Shop Ladies

The Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts

Free

Head to The Count’s over lunchtime to hear The Tuck Shop Ladies.

Australian folk music darlings Sam Lohs (Fruit) and Rosie Burgess (Rosie Burgess Trio), with ukuleles in hand, pull back the curtain to share an intimate selection of the often ridiculous, but always harmonious songs that were birthed in the back of a tour van, to amuse only themselves, and now, your family.

The triceps ain’t what they used to be but the funny bone has only gotten sharper. Their live show is an insight into the relationship of touring musicians, and the result of what happens when every day life is a Broadway musical. The Tuck Shop Ladies invite you into their hilarious world and leave you wanting to run away with the band.

This event takes place during lunchtime in Script @ The Count’s, where a delicious menu for children and grown-ups is on offer. Please note this event is free with non-reserved seating, and there is limited capacity to comply with our COVID safe obligations.
