South Side Festival: This is Joni

Monash University Performing Arts Centres is thrilled to present the incomparable Lauren Elizabeth and her band in This is Joni at the George Jenkins Theatre as part of South Side Festival, and as part of the 2023 Live At the Count’s season.

Written and performed by Melbourne singer/songwriter, Lauren Elizabeth, the audience will be taken through an exploration of memorable songs from the legendary singer/songwriter, who defined a generation through her music with her genre-defying catalogue of songs. Performing her many hits such as Help Me, Big Yellow Taxi, Blue and Free Man In Paris, plus a collection of songs spanning Mitchell’s 40-odd year career, Lauren Elizabeth will perform with her outstanding six-piece band, comprising some of Melbourne’s finest musicians and special guest vocalists.
