What if wild animals lived among us in our city? It would be a Wild City. Join us at Family Fiesta to take over the foyer of The Ian Potter Centre of Performing Arts to make our very own Wild City! Come enjoy the interactive miniature sculptural city where humans, plants and animals live together.
Wild City, by multi-disciplinary visual artist Kathy Holowko, introduces children to ideas of human and animal architecture and shows hybrid examples of co-existence, in an experience where children are then invited to draw, plant and construct their ideas onto the mini city.
Watch Wild City as it transforms into a lush green space that includes animal habitat. The city becomes a hybrid of human and animal habitat – wilder as the week goes on!
