Program
11th Monash Pharmacy Education Symposium 2024
The theme for the 2024 Pharmacy Education Symposium is “Agents of Change”. More specifically, we are coming at this from an equity and diversity perspective, as well as a digital health angle. Most sessions on Monday of the symposium will focus on equity, diversity and inclusion in pharmacy education, in particular health disparities caused by factors such as racism, stereotyping and colonisation. Tuesday will focus on barriers and enablers of digital health in terms of improving healthcare, and Wednesday will combine the two themes to put together a vision for improving healthcare that focuses on how all healthcare workers can be agents of change.
From a small group of ~30 curious pharmacy educators, it has grown to be an internationally recognised biennial conference, pushing the limits of our expectations. We look forward to celebrating this milestone with everyone in Prato! The symposium presents an ideal opportunity to share and discover best practice with colleagues committed to transforming pharmacy education and improving global health.
We have some terrific workshops and presenters planned for our 2024 symposium, and after a five year hiatus we are excited to be organising this symposium.
