Prizes

Three prizes are available to recognise outstanding presentations by junior researchers.

Best student oral prize

Four abstracts submitted by students (Hons, Masters or PhD) will be shortlisted to present in the student oral prize session on Friday 17th November. Presentations will be 10min each followed by 5min Q&A. The best presentation will receive an award.

Best student poster presentation

All abstracts submitted by students (Hons, Masters or PhD) will be eligible for the best poster presentation prize. Judging will occur at designated sessions throughout the meeting, and will consist of a 3min presentation followed by ~2min Q&A.

Best postdoctoral trainee poster presentation

Postdoctoral trainees, <10years post-PhD, are eligible for consideration and should nominate for the award when submitting an abstract. Judging will occur at designated sessions throughout the meeting, and will consist of a 3min presentation followed by ~2min Q&A.
