The US News & World Report Rankings follow other recent successes for Monash, including being ranked number two in the world for Pharmacy and Pharmacology in the 2020 QS World Rankings by Subject and #11th in the National Taiwan University Rankings for Pharmacology and Toxicology.

“These latest rankings reinforce our Faculty’s commitment and dedication to developing and producing high quality research with a focus on improving global healthcare outcomes” said Professor Arthur Christopoulos, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

“Although we also acknowledge that the quality of education and research of any institution will defy precise quantification, that fact that we consistently rate at the top of multiple global rankings such as these remains a powerful indicator of how our Faculty is tracking against its peers around the world and making an impact”.

“Now more than ever, collaboration, passion and the pursuit of knowledge are pivotal in creating environments where we can support the next generation of pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists and health care practitioners”.

The US News & World Report Best Global Universities Rankings involves institutions from the U.S. and more than 80 other countries, which have been ranked based on 13 indicators that measure their academic research performance and their global and regional reputations. Students can use these rankings to explore the higher education options that exist beyond their own countries' borders and to compare key aspects of schools' research missions.
