Monash University ranks #2 in the world for pharmacy and pharmacology

Monash University is among the top global performers in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject 2020 released today.

The latest results reflect Monash’s standing as a leading international university in research and education.

The 2020 QS World University Rankings by Subject, released today, ranked Monash University number two in the world for Pharmacy and Pharmacology.

The University has retained its long-held position as Australia’s and the Asia-Pacific’s number one University for Pharmacy and Pharmacology.

Since the subject rankings were introduced in 2011, Monash University has been consistently ranked in the most elite group of Pharmacy and Pharmacology programs worldwide with an average top ten ranking.

The QS Rankings assess the world’s best universities across five broad fields and 48 subject areas. Using quantitative and qualitative analysis, the rankings take into account academic reputation, employer reputation, citation and staff H-indexes.

Pharmacy and Pharmacology remain Monash University’s highest-ranking subject.
