English language requirements
All Monash applicants must satisfy the minimum English language requirements of the university. Applicants can meet these requirements in one of the following ways:
For applicants from an English speaking background or who completed the final four years of schooling entirely in an English medium educational institution (see 2.2.3), the satisfactory completion of either:

*The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences has higher Pearson, IELTS and TOEFL score requirements for entry to graduate coursework courses than the minimum required for entry to the university.
- A measure of English proficiency, other than a successfully completed bachelor's degree, may only be considered where it has been completed within two years prior to the applicant's commencement in the course of study to which admission is sought;
- A successfully completed undergraduate degree may only be considered where it has been completed within five years prior to the applicant's commencement in the course of study to which admission is sought.
- Applicants who provide proof of continuous residency in an English speaking country (from the approved list in section 2.2.3) since completion of a valid measure of English language proficiency are exempted from these recency requirements.
