Jaya Jayaseelan is a Research Scientist with the Biopharmaceutics Section at the Centre for Drug Candidate Optimisation (CDCO). He completed his undergraduate degree in Pharmacy at the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, India and Master of Biotechnology at Flinders University, South Australia. Jaya has experience in both academic and commercial environments and worked at VivoPharm Cancer Research Laboratory and Flinders University in Adelaide. He joined the CDCO in 2015. Jaya's role involves conducting various in vitro and in vivo ADME studies within the Centre. He has specialised skills in cell culture, as well as small animal surgery and cannulation techniques. Jaya looks forward to undertaking his Ph.D. in the near future. Outside of work he enjoys cricket, pencil and charcoal art, guitar, musical keyboard and Playstation.
