Dr Karen White
Karen White is the External Projects Coordinator at the Centre for Drug Candidate Optimisation (CDCO). She completed her undergraduate studies in Science at the University of Canterbury and Pharmacy at the University of Otago, and worked as a pharmacist in both New Zealand the U.K. She went on to complete her Ph.D. in Pharmacy at the University of Otago before moving to Melbourne to undertake a post-doctoral research fellow with Prof. Chris Porter at the Monash Institute of Pharmacological Sciences (MIPS). Karen joined the CDCO in 2007. Her role involves acting as a point of contact for our external collaborators and help with study design, scheduling and data reporting. Karen enjoys being involved in a broad range of drug discovery projects with potential global impact and interacting with a wide variety of external research groups worldwide.
