Dr Andrew Powell is the Operations Manager for the CDCO and has over 15 years' experience working in drug discovery and development, across scientific and management roles within the academic and biotechnology sectors. In his current role, Andrew ensures that the working needs of collaborators and key stakeholders are met and is the point of contact for potential external partners to plan and establish new collaborative projects.
Professor Susan Charman is founding and continuing Director of the CDCO and has more than 20 years’ experience working with multidisciplinary drug discovery teams. She has developed a successful model for conducting collaborative drug discovery within an academic environment, providing the quality data needed for compound design and optimisation.
