Novel electrochemical biosensors for early cancer diagnosis
The goal of this project is to develop electrochemical biosensors to target specific microRNA biomarkers of numerous cancer types that are difficult to diagnose at early stages, such as ovarian cancer.
Enhanced research experiences
This project involves activities carried out at Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and also at the Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication sits.
The candidate will be placed in a lab at CSIRO Health & Nutrition for the clinical validation of the sensors.
