The pharmacotherapy research group focuses on the optimisation of drug therapy—encompassing clinical and translational research—to improve the safe, appropriate and economical use of drugs in patient care.
A key feature of this work is a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team approach to identifying and developing improvements in clinical practice and patient care through medication use.
Our research focuses on a broad range of drug therapies and disease states in hospitals, aged care and primary health settings, contributing to the better use of medications and improved patient outcomes.
