Leadership opportunities
There are a wide range of leadership opportunities at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Monash University which will give you the chance to develop your skills as a leader.
Ancora Imparo
The Vice Chancellor's Ancora Imparo student leadership program helps passionate and idealistic students prepare for future leadership roles. You will have an opportunity to work with like-minded students and will be provided with an understanding of the visionary and inspirational principles that guide past, current and future leaders.
Student Development
Access self-paced training programs that provide flexible delivery online, allowing you to learn at your own pace and convenience. There are no formal assessments to hand in - the modules are designed to test and challenge, but won't overwhelm your study load.
Access online learning modules open to all students and apply for selective leadership programs.
Peer Mentor Program
Current students can mentor a group of new students as a part of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Mentor program. This scheme encourages current students to help their new peers with the transition to university life. The majority of this work is done during Orientation Week but will continue throughout the year. Becoming a mentor offers a range of benefits including enhancing your leadership and people skills.
Mentors are recruited at the end of semester two. Current students will be sent an invitation inviting them to apply to be a mentor for the following year.
Student Ambassador Program
Student ambassadors are appointed as representatives of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. They represent the faculty at a variety of future student, current student, alumni and industry events. In return Ambassadors receive a host of opportunities for skill and career development, including being paired with an industry mentor who can provide career advice and insight into their work environment. For more information visit the Student Ambassador Program website.
