Monash Doctoral Program Information Day 2017 in Jakarta

The Monash University Doctoral Program Information Day is a free event that offers prospective PhD students the opportunity to meet with leading Monash experts to find out more about the Monash Doctoral Program and how it can support students in career advancement or academic progression. 

The event(s) will be held on the 9th and 10th of September at the Fairmont Hotel in Jakarta.

The event brings together eight Faculties: Arts (Humanities and Social Sciences), Monash Business School, Education, Engineering, IT, Law, Science, and Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences; along with representatives from Monash University Malaysia and Monash alumni.

The main event day on the 9th of September will include an Expo with one-on-one consultations with Monash academics and staff, and information sessions by Monash experts about:

  • The Monash Doctoral Program
  • How to approach potential supervisors
  • How to write a thesis proposal
  • How to fund your studies, with presentations from Australian and Indonesian scholarship agencies
  • Insights from Monash alumni on their experience

In addition, Masters information sessions from the Faculty of Arts, Engineering, Information Technology, and Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences will be conducted.
