Delegations Register
University legislation empowers Deans to be responsible for the academic and administrative affairs of their respective faculty. The Statute, Regulations, policies, procedures and schedules of the University set out certain roles and responsibilities for the Deans of each faculty. These may be delegated by the Dean to other positions or bodies within their respective faculties. Please refer to the table below.

University Delegations
The Monash University Act, Statute and Regulations empower the Council, the Academic Board and the Vice-Chancellor to delegate certain of their powers, functions and activities to other officers or to committees. Management Delegations focus on who can sign contracts and other documents on behalf of the University and Human Resources functions. Please refer to the University Regulatory Framework.
