Partnering for Sustainable ChangeMonash researchers are active members of the early childhood community of practice and our research is based on genuine partnerships with communities. Our research design is grounded in community engagement, inclusion, equity and partnership. Monash’s community partnerships enable a deep connection with professional practice and community experience and a deep understanding of the systems changes that are needed on the ground. Training Attention and Learning Initiative (TALI)
The Training Attention and Learning Initiative (TALI) was co-created by Monash Professor Kim Cornish and Dr Hannah Kirk who have taken this well-researched computer ‘game’ into the community to support children with learning difficulties better concentrate in class.

Conceptual PlayLab
Monash Laureate Professor Marilyn Fleer’s Conceptual PlayLab is Australia’s first programmatic study of children’s STEM concept development in the early years through intentional teaching in play-based setting and designed collaboratively with communities and families.
