Monash Centre for Electron Microscopy (MCEM)
The Monash Centre for Electron Microscopy is a central university research facility that performs first-class research in electron microscopy. MCEM provides advanced instrumentation, expertise and training in scanning and transmission electron microscopy, enabling researchers to solve key problems in the physical sciences and engineering. The Centre’s suite of instrumentation can determine the composition, structure and bonding of materials down to the atomic scale.
Working with us
MCEM staff provide expert advice and training to researchers using the Centre. In addition, MCEM academic and research staff conduct their own specialised research programmes in fundamental and applied microscopy. For access to the MCEM facility follow the project request instructions.
