Victoria's first Magnetic Particle Imaging facility
Monash University, in partnership with RMIT, received a grant to establish Australia’s first Magnetic Particle Imaging facility, which will be located in the Alfred Research Alliance – Monash Biomedical Imaging (ARA MBI) Preclinical Imaging facility, at the Alfred site.
To allow potential users to understand the respective MPI technology and research opportunities;
- Jochen Franke, Bruker, Product Manager Magnetic Particle Imaging, System Engineering & Integration will outline Bruker’s relevant imaging equipment and capabilities, and
- researchers will outline how the Magnetic Particle Imaging facility could improve preclinical cardiovascular, cancer, neuroscience research and stem cell tracking research.
Come and join us to hear about how Victoria’s first Magnetic Particle Imaging Facility could assist your research.
Magnetic Particle Imaging Workshop 1 was held on 1 May 2019. During this workshop, Jim Mansfield, Scientific Director of Magnetic Insight, outlined Magnetic Insight’s relevant imaging equipment and capabilities.
