The Glasshouse at Green Chemical Futures is an easily reconfigurable visualisation, presentation and interaction space featuring a moveable display wall, VR-capable PC with attached head-mounted display and generous space for free movement in virtual reality. A tiled display wall comprising a 3x3 grid of 55" Full HD displays on a mobile base highlights the room, and can be used for displaying presentation content or real-time 3D graphics.
The VR system can transport a single user into an interactive virtual environment while mirroring what the user sees onto the large display wall, making demonstration and presentation in VR viewable by everybody in the room. The Glasshouse is also equipped with an eye tracking system, which can be configured for gaze tracking studies, where participants can view content on either a desktop monitor or the large display wall.
