MIVP operates a number of Monash University's advanced, immersive and large scale visualisation facilities, ranging from the ultra-scale CAVE2, to personal head-mounted virtual reality (VR) devices. We connect you - researchers and industry - to nascent display and interaction technologies that stand to change the way you visualise, comprehend and analyse your big data.
Feature: MIVP Self Service
25 October 2019
Comprising major visualisation capabilities, grown from the ground-up by the team at MIVP, Self-service allows users to upload and visualise data on the web, in the CAVE2, VR and in some cases AR; and to run two variants of Windows in the CAVE2.
The new MIVP Self-service capability provides improved accessibility to Monash's high-end display screens, and advanced, immersive visualisation. With lightweight registration, booking and training requirements, Self-service is a way to access the MIVP capabilities simply and easily.
Self-service is free of charge to Monash academic staff and higher-degree research students.
