Samuel Watson

Sam is a statistician at the University of Birmingham. His primary research interests include experimental design, particularly cluster randomised trials and geospatial experiments. His work focuses on the development of study design and statistical methodology to evaluate complex interventions, particularly in complex settings, such as evaluations of water and sanitation, vector-control, and multifaceted health service interventions. In an applied context, he works in public and global health, epidemiology, and medical and health services research. He is currently a member of the MRC's Applied Global Health Research Board and Associate Editor of the journals BMJ Quality & Safety and Trials.
