The story of Justin Lichtblau; the facilitator of The IGNITOR, Science Leaders Forum 2019 : Hot, dry and hungry

Justin Lichtblau (Alum) (BA 2012, MBus 2014, MES 2018) Sustainability Victoria – E-waste/Single Use Plastic Bag Campaign Lead facilitated the speaker panel at The IGNITOR, Science Leaders Forum 2019, held on 18th June 2019.

Having completed a second Master’s degree in Environment and Sustainability, specialising in Corporate Environmental and Sustainability Management in 2018. He graduated with the Academic Medal for Excellence in Postgraduate Coursework Study.

Prior to this Justin also completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Public Relations in 2012, and a Master of Business, specialising in Marketing in 2014.

Justin is passionate about solving environmental and social issues and exploring new and innovative ways to approach sustainability. He has worked on a variety of projects including apps, podcasts and gamified learning in the sustainability space, for which he was recognised as a Semi-Finalist in the 2019 Victorian Young Achiever Awards.

Justin now utilises his combined communications, marketing and sustainability expertise to drive social change and engagement toward sustainable development today, tomorrow and into the future.

Justin currently works for Sustainability Victoria where he leads the campaigns for two key sustainable initiatives for  the Victorian Government; The E-waste Campaign (Take Your E-waste to a Better Place) and the Single Use Plastic Bag Campaign (Better Bag Habits).
