SCI3910 Science schools project
In this unit you are placed in teams in a school environment where you teach a module of science to school students. Through this immersive experience you further develop skills that are transferable to any workplace: communication with a range of stakeholders, project and time management, and team work are some of the skills valued by the students who completed this unit. You can also use this opportunity to taste teaching as a possible career.

SCI3930 Career skills for scientists

Through scenarios and creative problem solving activities you will learn the nuts and bolts of the business environment. You will self-assess your skills against what employers look for, write a CV and job application that will make you stand out, learn how to build your network, and how to present yourself professionally. This unit is offered in Semesters 1 and 2.
