Chemicals and Plastics Manufacturing GRIP

Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering

The Chemicals and Plastics (C&P) Manufacturing GRIP is a new initiative by the Faculties of Science and Engineering, aiming to prepare PhD graduates for a career in the chemical industry with both an Australian and international focus.

Monash University and the Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association (PACIA) received a Victorian State Government grant, and support directly from industry to help grow and strengthen innovation potential in the chemicals and plastics industry.  The funds have supported the formation of a Chemicals and Plastics Innovation Network and the C&P Manufacturing GRIP is an integral part of this Network, providing a strong focus for the Network's activities and creating a PhD cohort that will take the Network forward into the future.
