About the redevelopment
In December 2017, the Victorian State Government announced the development of the Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH).
The first stage of VHH construction began in August 2018, causing short term disruption to all users of the sporting precinct.
We're taking this opportunity to renew our commitment to sport, announcing delivery of new multi-sports facilities, constructed with a long term vision for sport at Monash in mind.
Monash University is commited to sport, including club, varsity, social sport and recreational activity on campus.
Optimising broad student participation is a core guiding principle in planning sports facilities.
That's why we've announced the delivery of multi-sports facilities, constructed with a long term vision for sport at Monash in mind.
