Share
Share

Join hundreds of new international students from all Australian Monash campuses as we visit the world-famous Phillip Island Penguin Parade and Wildlife Park.

Phillip Island is home to a colony of Fairy Penguins, which emerge from the surf every evening at sunset and waddle across the beach at the Penguin Parade. This full day tour include kangaroos, koalas, wombats, emus, and the world's smallest (and cutest) penguins.

Why not take a sneak peek?

Confirmation and itinerary

You'll receive confirmation of your booking immediately after payment has been received.

We'll email a detailed itinerary to you two days before the trip. This will confirm meeting time, pick up location, your guide's name, an emergency contact and allocated bus number for your trip. As a general guide, buses depart campus mid-morning and return at approximately 9pm. For operational reasons, bus swaps won't be allowed.

What to bring

Check the weather conditions closer to the day and dress appropriately. We recommend that you bring warm clothes including, a coat, hat, gloves and scarf as it can get very cold at the Penguin Parade once the sun goes down. You’ll also need to wear sensible shoes.

Lunch is provided, however we recommend that you bring your own morning and afternoon tea, as well as drinking water and dinner. You may also want to bring some spending money as there will be opportunities for you to purchase snacks and souvenirs. The Penguin Parade has a cafeteria with hot food options for people that wish to purchase their dinner.

Don’t forget your camera as there will be lots of photo opportunities throughout the day, however please note that photography is not allowed in the penguin parade.

Refund policy

Once we have received your booking and you have a confirmation email, the booking can no longer be cancelled and is non-refundable. You maybe able to transfer your booking to another Monash student (that student must have a student ID). No ticket transfers will be allowed after registrations have closed (17/5/17).
