My Progress and Support tool
To help you stay on track with your studies, we’ve developed a self-assessment tool that provides you with tailored resources and support.
How it works
If you’ve been assigned risk level one or two, you’ll need to complete My Progress and Support. Once you receive the link, you’ll have 10 days to complete it (it takes about 10 minutes).
The tool will step you through a series of straightforward questions that help you pinpoint the areas of your life and study habits that may be affecting your results. Topics covered include your choice of course, living arrangements, health and wellbeing and your commitments outside of study. As part of the questionnaire, you’ll also have the opportunity to provide further information through free text fields (you won't be able to upload supporting documents). This information is optional, but it can help you clarify any problems and may also be used by your faculty if you’re invited to an academic performance support meeting.
After you’ve completed My Progress and Support, you’ll be provided with a list of resources and support options, such as links to relevant web resources, study programs, and drop-in centres where you can get help with assignments, study skills and preparation for your final assessments.
Someone from your faculty will also review your submission to decide whether you’d benefit from an academic performance support meeting. If you’re required to attend an academic performance support meeting, you’ll be notified by email.
Why you should complete My Progress and Support
As well as giving you access to useful advice and resources, My Progress and Support can help your faculty tailor a support plan specifically for you. You should also bear in mind that if you have any further progress issues in subsequent review periods and are required to attend a hearing, the Academic Progress Committee may take your previous involvement in the process into consideration when assessing your case. Just remember, there are no right or wrong answers. Whether your studies are being affected by study-related or personal problems, we’re here to help get you back on track.
