The University of Warwick, England
What Laura Driessen says
“It’s so much fun being a tourist and a student, you can be a local but you always have an excuse to do things like visit castles and go on trips!”
Thoughts on the University of Warwick
“Warwick is a vibrant university, with activities and social events for whenever you're free. The classes and lecturers are great too; it's really good to have the smaller supervisions (like tutorials, but with one supervisor to four or five students) and the larger support classes and seminars (like tutorials) to reinforce what was covered in the lectures”.
Life in Coventry
“Warwick University is not really in a city, but it's close to Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and Warwick County Town. These towns are beautiful and quite quaint, with plenty of shopping opportunities and cafes. It's easy to get to places like Oxford, Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle and Stratford-Upon-Avon, so there's no excuse not to see England while you're here. The people are all so friendly and will always help out if you ask”.
“Don't be scared to ask for help. Whether it's help with homework or study or just finding the train station. People are not going to bite your head off, they are more than happy to point you in the right direction!”
