Information and events
An information session can help you with any questions we haven’t answered on the website. Come along to learn about all our different kinds of program opportunities, how to apply and the scholarships and grants available to help get you overseas.
If you still have questions after you attend an info session, you may want to speak with us face-to-face. The sessions are run by our student officers, who have been on exchange and can help you out with applying. These drop-in sessions are held once a day at our office, every day during semester (weeks 1 to 12) and some even during SWOTVAC.
When you arrive at Monash you’ll start your semester of study abroad or exchange with an exciting orientation program on campus. You’re required to attend because we’ll finalise your enrolment and you’ll get vital information about your semester at Monash. Plus, there's lots of fun stuff too!
If you are going overseas on a semester-long program, a pre-departure session is essential preparation for your time overseas. We’ll make sure you’ve received your scholarship cash, cover some health and safety info and make sure you’re all set to go.
The Global Experience Fair is your chance to talk face-to-face with representatives from our partner universities and programs, get advice from Monash Abroad staff and faculty exchange advisors, discover other students’ global adventures, and open your mind to a world of global programs at Monash.
Malaysia Week is your first step to exploring our gateway to South East Asia. Meet with representatives from our Malaysia campus, speak with students who have studied there before and find out all there is to know about an unforgettable experience semester or year abroad in Malaysia.
