Brazil Scientific Mobility Program
What is Brazil Scientific Mobility Program?
Brazil Scientific Mobility Program or Ciência sem Fronteiras (CF) is a large-scale scholarship program managed by the Brazilian Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
It’s been designed by the Brazilian federal government to address shortages of engineering, health sciences, life sciences and technology graduates in Brazil by granting Brazilian university students scholarships to study at some of the best universities in the world.
Why take part in CF at Monash?
Monash is ranked in the top one per cent of world universities (see 'our rankings and what they mean') so choosing Monash as your overseas destination to study things like engineering, earth sciences, IT, aerospace, and renewable energy (check out all of the areas of study) is a smart choice.
Your one year study abroad scholarship could give you the opportunity to learn along-side the Monash researchers responsible for innovations like the bionic eye and IVF fertility treatment, and you’ll have access to cutting edge facilities like the Australian Synchrotron or the Monash Wind Tunnel which was used by cyclist Cadel Evans during his training for the 2012 Tour de France – meaning you’ll return to Brazil armed with new skills and ways of thinking, making it easy to launch a successful career in whatever field you choose.

Contact your Study Abroad Coordinator or International Advisor at your home university to complete a CF scholarship application, you’ll need to have been granted the scholarship before you can apply to come to Monash.
