About the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana
The Faculty of Economics is located in the city of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, which is a relatively large central European city situated between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea with approximately 300,000 inhabitants. It is the political and cultural heart of the Slovenian nation with rich historical legacy that offers all the friendliness of a small town and at the same time everything that a capital city should offer.
The Faculty of Economics is the University of Ljubljana's largest member with over 6,000 full and part-time students at all Bologna levels. It consistently ranks the top in Slovenia. Founded in 1946, the Faculty is an important pillar of the Slovenian research and business community. They are very proud to be EQUIS, AACSB and TEDQUAL accredited and consider themselves as international, working closely with our 203 international partners. The Faculty is also actively involved in international cooperation, notably in the EU programme Life Long Learning and with memberships in networks as EFMD, AACSB, NIBES, EDAMBA, NAFSA, CEEMAN, EAIE, EIASM and others.
