Short Exchange
There are three different participation modes for summer and winter schools. These modes determine how you are enrolled, and how costs and fees are paid. The mode of delivery may also impact how you apply.
Where can I go?
As of 1 January 2020, only summer and winter programs that have been pre-approved by Monash Abroad and available in the Monash Abroad Program Search can be taken. This is to ensure the quality and timeliness of the programs available to students.
Winter programs are usually promoted from late February, and Summer programs are promoted from late July. Only faculty and Monash Abroad-approved summer and winter school options are available.
How much will it cost?
Program costs will vary depending on the participation mode, program duration, destination and host institution.
For more information about program costs, refer to the individual brochure information for your preferred program.
Important note: Do not pay any deposits (where relevant), or organise flights until you have received Monash Abroad approval. Monash Abroad will not be held responsible for any costs incurred as a result of an unsuccessful application.
