Global migration

You will learn to critically analyse the global politics of migration, refugees and internally displaced persons, and border security. This specialisation explores the drivers of migration and how networks of state and non-state actors govern peoples’ movement and (re)settlement through norms, law, socioeconomic policy, and force. As migration issues rise to the top of the international agenda, demand is growing for expertise from city, state, and federal governments, NGOs, and inter-governmental organisations. You will finish this specialisation with the skills and knowledge required to perform these roles.
