Advanced primary health care practice

Your qualification will be a Master of Advanced Primary Health Care Practice

This specialisation allows health professionals such as medical practitioners, nurses, allied health professionals, primary health administrators, and managers and policy makers to choose from a number of contemporary topics in primary health care. You will examine the complexities of global health issues and, in particular, look at practices and strategies that will improve the delivery of primary health care across community, district and country levels. A strong emphasis on finding interdisciplinary solutions to health problems flows through to units in which you will gain an understanding of how to collaborate with other primary healthcare professions.

Students on an international visa may apply to study the Midwifery specialisation either in Australia on campus, or from your home country via online mode.

Other specialisations are not available to international students in Australia on a student visa (however, these other specialisations may be studied via online mode from your home country).
