What you’ll be qualified for

Your qualification will be a Master of Teaching in Primary and Secondary Education. You’ll be able to teach children and adolescents aged five to 18 years in primary and secondary schools (Foundation to Year 12).

What you’ll be learning

You’ll study the fundamentals of primary and secondary education. You’ll explore a range of teaching and learning strategies to help students with a diversity of cognitive, social and emotional needs.

Drawing on contemporary theories, concepts and practices, you’ll dive into the learning process and the aspects that influence it. Along the way, you’ll gain an appreciation of the power and positive impact teaching can have on a child’s development through their schooling life.

With 60 days of supervised teaching practice in primary and secondary education settings, you’ll get a chance to put theory into practice and get a real taste for what teaching looks like out in the field.
