We work closely with the University to develop the curriculum so you will be prepared for your degree.

Students are required to complete a wide range of compulsory subjects covering all aspects of business. They include management, marketing, economics, law, accounting and communication. A small number of electives are also available.

This course is suitable for students who have narrowly miss out on the entry scores required for directly entry into Monash University.

Qualifications

To be accepted into a Monash College Diploma, you must meet the academic and English language requirements. You will also need to check the age, subject and course prerequisites before you apply.

Prerequisite subjects

You must meet the additional course prerequisite subjects which are equivalent to Australian Year 11 (part 1) or Australian Year 12 (part 2).

Please note: If you only have Mathematics (Australian Year 11 equivalent), during your Diploma you must complete MCD2130 Functions and Their Applications in order to meet the prerequisites for a business degree.

IELTS: 5.5 overall (no band lower than 5.0) TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 52 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 15, Listening: 5, Reading: 5 and Speaking: 14 Equivalent approved English test

Diploma Part 2
IELTS: 6.0 overall (Writing not less than 6.0)TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 69 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 21 Equivalent approved English test

Enrolment Obligations
