The Graduate Certificate of Digital Law is a graduate-level introduction to the digital impact on law, where you'll explore the challenges of new technologies and the emerging legal and ethical issues arising because of them.

You need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course.

Minimum Entry Requirements (Domestic students)

Qualifications

Applicants must have completed an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with at least credit (60%) average, or equivalent qualification or experience approved by the faculty.

English requirements

Applicants must also meet the English language requirements.

This course comprises four units of study, in which you will be introduced to legal processes and principles as they apply in a digital context. Students who are entering the course without having previously studies law will build a foundation of understand the sources of law and the implications of the law’s application in digital contexts. You will further develop an understanding of the core knowledge in digital technology, privacy law, governance and ethics, as well as emerging challenges as technological progress changes the landscape of legal and regulatory sectors.
