A degree with a focus on the digital impact on law will allow you to stay up-to-date with new technologies and the emerging legal and ethical issues that arise because of them, including the ownership of data and the ethical considerations behind the configuration of new technologies.

Minimum Entry Requirements (Domestic students)

Qualifications

The Graduate Diploma of Digital Law offers two pathways to entry.

Depending on prior qualifications:

Entry level 1: 48 points to complete
Duration: 1.4 years part time

Applicants must have completed an Australian bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and achieved a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 or an equivalent Grade Point Average as approved by the faculty.

Entry level 2: 24 points to complete
Duration: 0.7 years part time

Applicants must have completed a Monash Graduate Certificate of Digital Law.

English requirements

Applicants must also meet the English language requirements.

University entrance requirements

Minimum entrance requirements for admission to Monash University Australia.

This course is structured in two parts:

  • Part A. Core legal study
  • Part B. Advanced legal knowledge

Note: If you are eligible for credit for prior studies you may elect not to receive the credit and complete one of the higher credit-point options.

Units are 6 credit points unless otherwise stated.
