Entry Requirements

You need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course.

Minimum Entry Requirements (International students)

Qualifications

Entry level 1:
Duration: 1.5 years full-time, 3 years part-time (72 points to complete)

An Australian bachelor degree or an equivalent qualification with a preferred Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 or an equivalent GPA as determined by the Faculty. Applicants will be ranked based on relevant employment and marketing experience, their entire academic record and statement of purpose.

Relevant employment and marketing experience will normally be evidenced by:

  • a major in marketing and 2 years work experience
  • a minimum of three years employment experience with at least 1 year of professional/managerial experience.

Entry level 2:
Duration: 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time (48 points to complete)

An Australian undergraduate honours degree (or equivalent) in marketing with at least a WAM of 60 and relevant work experience.

OR

An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) and an Australian graduate certificate (or equivalent) in marketing with at least a WAM of 60 and relevant work experience.

English entry requirements

Level A
IELTS: 6.5 overall (no band lower than 6.0) TOEFL Paper-based test: 550 with a TWE of 4.5 TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 79 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 21, Listening: 12, Reading: 13 and Speaking: 18 Equivalent approved English test

Enrolment Obligations

International students enrolling in a CRICOS-registered course can study no more than one third (33%) of their course by distance and/or online learning. Students must enrol in at least one unit that is not by distance and/or online in each compulsory study period unless the student is completing the last unit of their course.
