The Master of Professional Accounting is suited to recent graduates and professionals in the early stages of their careers who have a bachelor's degree in another field, and are seeking to complement it with an accounting qualification.

You will develop a strong understanding of key concepts and gain expertise that reflects current business practices, meaning that you'll gain professional accreditation and graduate career ready.

You need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course.

Minimum Entry Requirements (Domestic students)

Qualifications

An Australian bachelor degree or equivalent qualification with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 60 or an equivalent grade point average (GPA) as determined by the faculty. Applicants who have completed relevant discipline units in an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) may be eligible for credit for advanced preparatory units on the basis of recognised prior learning (RPL).

Applicants will be ranked and selected based on their entire academic record.

English requirements

Applicants must also meet the English language requirements.

The course is structured in three parts: Part A. Advanced preparatory studies, Part B. Mastery knowledge and Part C. Application studies.
All students complete Part A, B and C.

Partner with another course

Double degree courses allow you to study towards two different degrees at the same time, and graduate with two separate qualifications. And because a required subject in one course can count as an elective in the other, our double degrees take up to two years less than if you studied for the two degrees separately.
