There is a growing demand for healthcare delivery beyond traditional face-to-face services. The Graduate Certificate of Telehealth is an online course designed to provide healthcare professionals with a framework for developing a safe and effective virtual practice. You’ll gain the practical skills and knowledge required to deliver evidence-based telehealth services.
This course is delivered in partnership with Turning Point, a leading national provider of telehealth services to the alcohol and other drug (AOD), gambling and mental health sectors. Learning from local and international experts from Monash and Turning Point, you’ll cover the practical, legal, ethical and policy-related requirements of working remotely with patients, clients and consumers.
Whether you are currently working in health, mental health, psychology, allied health and social sciences, government or community sectors, this course provides you with a person-centred approach to delivering telecare. Your learning will explore the latest evidence and best examples of evidence-based telehealth practice from around the globe.
Delivered fully online, the Graduate Certificate of Telehealth combines the quality and recognition of a Monash qualification with the flexibility required by working health professionals.

Minimum Entry Requirements (Domestic students)
Qualifications
An Australian undergraduate degree in a cognate health discipline* (or equivalent) with at least a pass (50%) average.
- Cognate disciplines include medicine, nursing, dietetics, nutrition, counselling, psychological sciences, health sciences, allied sciences (paramedicine), surgery, applied sciences (nursing), science research (health care), science, social work, occupational therapy, community welfare, public health policy, and health teaching, OR
- An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with at least a pass (50%) average and at least 2 years experience in a relevant health industry.
