The Graduate Certificate of Applied Genomics is a 24 point future-focused course that provides expert training in areas of genetics, genomics, and biotechnology, developing graduates to meet the growing demand for expertise in these areas. The course builds knowledge and skills relevant to areas and approaches used in industry. Students study the application of genomics in different contexts relevant to the genomics industry and its continued expansion and development. The course is a pathway to a Master of Genome Analytics.

Entry Requirements

You need to satisfy the following entrance requirements to be considered for entry to this course.

Minimum Entry Requirements (Domestic students)

Qualifications

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with at least first year Biology, or related discipline studies and at least 60% (credit) average overall, or equivalent qualification and experience approved by the faculty.

English requirements

Applicants must also meet the English language requirements.

Minimum entrance requirements for admission to Monash University Australia.

The course comprises 24 credit points of Genomics studies.
